Bibliographical study on Patholgy, classfication and dialectics of jaundice in Keumkweyoyak

Abstract
In order to confirm the general concept of jaundice in oriental medicine, the bibliographical study was done by comparison and discussion of oriental scholar¢¥s comments on the paragraph on jaundice. The resuftd were obtained as follows:
1. The jaundice in Keumkweyoyak(KKYY) can be calssified as grain-jaundice, alcohol jaundice and sexual jaundice and also jaundice by wrong treatment.
2. The causes of jaundice were mixed humidity and heat, cold and humidity, dotted blood, weaknes of kidney, deficiency of Qi and blood and hepatic and biliary diseases.
3. In treatment, with the principle of removing heat and humidity, in case of more heat, yinfinhotang, in case of humidity, yinjinohryungsan, in case of constipation with heat and humidity, daehwangchoseoktang, noxious air in blood field, chijadaehwangtang and in case of degenerated jaundice, sokelyungtang.
4. Black jaundice that can be induced by wrong treatment is similar to liver cirrhosis and hepatic cancer with jaundice
